Quick Post – Lemon/Mustard/Lavender Dressing

HAPPY TUESDAY!

Guys… our CSA gifted us some amazing things this week including fresh lavender! I am so excited to cook all sorts of goodies with it. It is a wonderfully versatile herb and can be used to flavor drinks, desserts, meats, and salad dressings! This easy 7 ingredient recipe is the perfect addition to any spring salad!

INGREDIENTS

dressing

  • Juice of half a lemon (4 tablespoons)
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lavender flowers
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

STEPS:
1. In a bowl or jar add lemon juice, salt, mustard ,lavender, garlic and balsamic vinegar and whisk.
2. Slowly drizzle the olive oil while you continue whisking until you have added the entire amount.

It’s that simple!
